Well apologies for all the #LAOTY hype. Most disappointed that the producers found inane cooments by someone who had never painted anywhere other than her kitchen more noteworthy than my #FineArtInStitch

With a new instance comes a new #introduction, eh? I work as a visual and #textileartist and #portraitpainter in Oulu, Finland. I focus on #abstractpainting, #portraitpainting, and #textileart, specifically #taideryijy (#rya rug) design and #weaving. I find artistic inspiration from various areas of #science, such as #biology, #pathology, #botany, and #environmentalscience.

I'm a professional #TextileArtist I live in the #PeakDistrict UK. My #textile artworks are hand stitched, usually using locally sourced, hand dyed wool. Using a free hand technique I “paint with thread and yarn”.
