This piece of #PopArt was among the very first #digitalArt works made in color with #Amiga 1000 home computer hardware on a #16bit #Motorola #CPU. Even when #RichardShoup's #SuperPaint was available a decade earlier, it couldn't challenge #DeluxePaint. Of course 1985 #AndyWarhol was a big #PR stunt for #Commodore, but his #pixelPOP #art was lost on 3.5" #floppydisk's for over three decades.

All of a sudden I am looking for a 68030 accelerator for the Amiga 2000. There are a few modern ones in different states of readiness, it seems.

Can anyone point me to something solid? (Older would be fine - but I see none on offer in the regular places.)

Update: Has anyone tried the new Dicke Olga board? It has a disable switch which I require.

I'm not surprised. Some years ago, when I installed Blokada, I discovered that my old #Motorola (#Lenovo) phone contacted graph dot facebook dot com every time I connected my Bluetooth headphones. (I assume the reason it did this was to discover which other devices belonged to me, all the better to spy on me.) No #Facebook apps were installed on the phone. Eventually, by learning how to use the Android Debug Bridge (ADB), I found a Facebook process that I couldn't disable or remove.

Unlike your customer's phone, my phone displayed nothing in the Android UI: there was no clue that anything creepy was happening, and no way to disable it.

I solved the problem, kinda, by instructing Blokada to enable a blocklist that blocked all Facebook domains. You could suggest that your customer do the same. But, still, I hate the idea that Lenovo was using my battery power and bandwidth to spy on me with no notification, no consent, and no opt-out.

I'm pleased to say that my #Fairphone doesn't have this creepy spyware and doesn't contact #Meta behind my back.

I ordered a new, ceramic and gold MC68010 to go in my Amiga 2000 as I remove the A2620 '020 board due to issues with some tightly-coded old and new OCS/ECS demos (my main use of the system). I came to realize some of these issues would exhibit with the '010 as well, and for very little performance gain.

And so, the loveld 68010 may become one of my "desk chips" to glance at from time to time as I do my thing at the desk, like my lovely ceramic and gold Freescale '000.
