LAYERED<p><span class="h-card" translate="no"><a href="https://oldbytes.space/@blakespot" class="u-url mention" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">@<span>blakespot</span></a></span> Haha... 😃</p><p>Another mod I did was to pimp the WD1771 with a new crystal which increases its R/W speed which results in a higher data density. It was totally proprietary but feels really cool. I could switch between normal density and high-density with a switch on the back of the computer. 😃</p><p><a href="https://chaos.social/tags/Atari" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Atari</span></a> <a href="https://chaos.social/tags/AtariST" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>AtariST</span></a> <a href="https://chaos.social/tags/VintageComputing" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>VintageComputing</span></a> <a href="https://chaos.social/tags/RetroComputing" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>RetroComputing</span></a> <a href="https://chaos.social/tags/RetroTech" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>RetroTech</span></a> <a href="https://chaos.social/tags/Hardware" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Hardware</span></a></p>
