I just bought a lifetime #plex pass, after trying it for 6 months or so. I only use it for #plexamp to stream #music #flac from my #synology #nas to my #linux laptop, #rpi with #allo #boss2 #dac and #android phone. I also created an account for my almost 80-year-old father so he can join my server and library.

I came from #roon which I enjoyed a lot, but due to different reasons I made the switch. Plexamp provides such a seamless experience, I really can't wish for more. Keep up the good work!

Android gurus - is there any app that will let me customize an alarm (on a rooted #Google #Pixel running stock #Android 14) by power source status?

The problem I'm trying to solve is that I want to set a single alarm to go off at 10:40pm - but only if the phone is on battery. If it's plugged in, the alarm should *not* sound.

I cannot find a way to use DND for this, and the stock Android doesn't have a knob to enable / disable alarms based on power source. I'd love to find a lightweight solution if possible!

Every app that uses location access on #Android nags me to turn on the "accurate" (WiFi surveillance) location setting now, rather than just letting me use my GPS. And when I don't, Android thinks I'm nowhere near where I actually am.

I know that isn't a hardware problem, because GPS used to work fine all of its own accord.

Why are my only options "let us digitally surveil you" or "this doesn't work"?
