@CursedSilicon personally, if this wouldn't trigger security and get folks spooed all the time I'd consider building a #luggable #MiniPC in a case designed like a #FlightRecorder but I'm shure checkibg in with this at #CGN airport will get my ass dragged straight to #EASA's office in downtown!

The only exemptions they do - for #LeadAcid, #LithiumBatteries and even #CombustionEngines with #Fuel - are (motorized) #Wheelchairs, tho said users face a whole stack of even worse #discrimination, as I'm shure @RaulKrauthausen et. al. can tell from personal experience.
@jon @energisch_ @wmd Problem with #LithiumBatteries (actually only #LiCo / #LiIon / #LiPo, not #LiFePO4!) is that they tend to exothermically explode and gas out hydrofluoric acid when they degraded too far and/or get charged too fast...
It's also why my landlord won't allow me to install a charging wallbox at my fixed parking spot in the garage, because fire safety codes don't allow that - same with a canister of fuel!
Same with Bicycles / Pedelecs in the cellar, tho since there have been thefts I'd definitely not put anything there that has even remotely some value...

Personally I intent to migrate from #UbuntuMono to #B612Mono for licensing reasons alone, and also the #B612 family is propably the best tested (#Aerospace certified by #FAA & #EASA) typeface that isn't paywalled behind NDA'd call-for-pricing license deals...

Ich erwarte von Regulierern wie dem #BSI das diese das genauso ernst nehmen wie die #EASA #Flugsicherheit, denn spätestens bei Klinik-IT kann sowas extrem schnell sehr hässlich werden!
Warum wird für fast jedes #Gebäude #Brandschutz borgeschrieben inkl. jährlicher Prüfung aber nichtmals jährlich Backup, Prüfung der Backups & Wiederherstellung ais diesen von null auf???
