@KarlHeinzHasliP @denki Personally, I think that standardized #batteries that get swapped would've been the solution to the charging speed problem.

#BEV|s are a problem and the #EnergyDensity and #Charging problems are hard walls that can only be circumvented (i.e. swapping fluids at a #RedoxFlow-#Battery) or ignored (i.e. #Methanol #FuelCell)...

Solving the #EnergyProblem isn't a technological issue, but a political one (see #DESERTEC)...

@KarlHeinzHasliP That's why I said used as well.

  • OFC I wished for something else and I'd even consider DIY some methanol fuelcell thingy, but at a cost in the 5 digits for the fuel cell assembly alone that's just not practical.

  • Meanwhile I'll have to make due with what I can afford & maintain!

As for small EVs: If it doesn't have a #CCS2 connector and I can't charge it full in 30min from 0 it's not practical and I'm pretty shure every charging station will throw me out if it takes several hours to recharge.

  • And those €200 adaptors will either be not permitted or get vandalized or stolen by passers-by...

A je to, konečně jsem se rozhýbal a dneska jsem odvezl svoje dieselové auto do bazaru, takže už máme jen ženy benzínovou Fabii a můj služebák, kterým se snažím nejezdit soukromě. Jsem celkem rozhodnut, že další auto domů bude #BEV. Teď ještě vymyslet co to bude, jediná věc je jistá, nebude to Tesla, jinak jsem celkem otevřen čemkoli, uvidíme. 😁

"The Texas-based electric carmaker sold less than 16,000 vehicles across Europe last month, down 44% on average across 25 countries in the EU, the UK, Norway and Switzerland, according to data compiled by the research platform Jato Dynamics.

"Tesla’s market share fell to 9.6% last month, the lowest it has registered in February for five years. In January, its sales across Europe fell 45%, from 18,161 in 2024 to 9,945."

And just to clarify, that appears to be less than 10% of the EV market:

"Tesla commanded 1.8% of the total [car] market and 10.3% of the BEV market in February, down from 2.8% and 21.6% respectively last year.

"It sold fewer than 17,000 cars in the European Union, Britain and European Free Trade Association countries, compared to over 28,000 in the same month in 2024."

Für Menschen, die meinen, wo sollen denn all die E-Autos (AKA #BEV )laden?!
Das ist der Parkplatz des #REWE in #Velbert Bonsfeld.
4 (vier) 150kW Schnellladepunke, Auslastung? Sehr selbst.
Während des Einkaufs bekommt man da jeden halbwegs vernünftigen Wagen aufgeladen.
In unserer Stadt scheint es eh ganz gut zu funktionieren. Auch die Stadtwerke sind fleißig dabei ihr Stationsnetz auszubauen.
Demnächst bekommen wir eine vor der Haustür.

ciężko te dane traktować za miarodajne. Obecnie elektryków jest zdecydowanie mniej w stosunku do spalinowych, więc i dane nie odzwierciedlają w pełni rzeczywistości. Po drugie, obstawiam, że większość elektryków nie jeździ zwykle zbyt daleko, więc i nie są tak obciążane przez dłuższy czas.

Bardziej sensowne dane będą, jak ilość elektryków zbliży się do ilości spalinowych.
