#WordWeavers 4/20. If someone gave you a million dollars (or equivalent) to never write again, would you take it?

Would I be tempted? Yes.

Would I do it? No.

There's an argument that says I could switch to 3D rendering but I cannot help but tell stories so I'd want to be writing comics. That doesn't work either.

In regard to this image, the speech bubble is literally part of the 3D scene, it wasn't added afterwards.

Creating art is my coping mechanism for the state of the world. Here I have control.

And I guess that's the reason for my choice of genres. SciFi, Fantasy, Cyberpunk, I did those already before the world went nuts. SciFi offers glimpses into bettter futures and better societies. Cyberpunk often describes how heroes stand up against overwhelming odds in a dytopian future, never giving up hope. Fantasy often does something very similar. Aside from creating pretty images (at least I think they are pretty) I draw strength from it.

This is part 2 of my of my "Lost" render I posted the other day and of course it's got a bit of a story too:

In the stillness of the night amidst the expanse of water the Peacekeeper’s hand reached out, summoning an orb of pure light. It hovered above her palm, its soft glow showing through the darkness. The orb’s light was the only source of illumination, casting a gentle light over the vast water that stretched beyond sight. Surrounding the Peacekeeper's hand, towering pillars of blue and green energy rose from the depths, encircling the orb like ancient sentinels...

This was meant to be Frutiger Aero but I am not sure how well I pulled it off. I was thinking of a story that could go along with this and I came up with this:

In a world where landscapes mirrored our imaginations, AeroSphere was a vibrant realm where design thrived on community and aesthetics. Every element, from buttons to menus, had personality. The Peacekeeper, an "entity" of sorts, seamlessly connected with others in this realm.

But as the minimalist trend of Flatland spread the once-playful designs faded into boring, uniform shapes. What was once easy and engaging became monotonous and the community's warmth diminished. The Peacekeeper, unwilling to accept this new reality, set out on a quest to restore AeroSphere’s lost vibrancy and joy, hoping to revive its colorful, intuitive spirit...
