Caught up on my #DresdenFiles. That last one was a bit of a slog, and had /serious/ GameMasterAnthony's birthday party thread vibes, but still fun enough. Def a bit of a “ok well either he gets back on track after this, or it's really just off the rails” pivot point tho.

Next is back to #Discworld with Reaper Man, I enjoy a good Death-focused romp which I assume this will also be.

After that I reckon it'll be back to scifi for a while, this will be the 4th fantasy(ish) book in a row.

Reading plot summaries of the #DresdenFiles as prep for picking it back up (at Peace Talks) and realizing that, wow, okay. Butcher is /obsessed/ with parricide. Nearly every single frigging book involves extreme family on family ultraviolence.

Sure it’s usually of the “evil always backstabs itself” variety, but like, sheesh.
