I just watched the #movie #September5 (2024) about the death of 11 #Israeli #athletes killed in terrorist hostage taking that went wrong at the 1972 #Munich #Olympics.

According to #Fandango, the movie is already out of the theaters & is only available to be streamed.

It plays like an documentary. Very little live footage is shown because #ABC the only network to cover the event as it occurred really had no access beyond distant shots & on the scene reporting.

So, the movie is mainly about the behind the scenes event of the ABC Sports team taking over the reporting of a major political event -- the things they got right & the things they got wrong in the process -- & it is more interesting from this #TV #journalistic perspective than any other.

I'd give it a 6 out of 10 but it's not going on my DVD buy list.

Tight script that chronicles the incident from a unique point of view, well balancing drama and suspense.
Excellent cast and Fehlbaum’s razor-sharp direction keeps you on the edge of your seat.
