Another screenshot from my early Linux days:
Running SUSE Linux 9.0, listening to music with XMMS, texting on ICQ with Kopete, emailing with Thunderbird, and browsing my personal homepage in Firebird.
And it looks like I was trying to compile a kernel module for my server’s IDE RAID PCI card…
@itsfoss I thought it is an effort that is supported by EU politicians and/or staff but not officially recognized as the one true EU solution yet.
I love #Redhat but I wonder as well whether #suse or #kde's own distro wouldn't be the better choice. They might still end up using Fedora for the time being as there are some situations in which higher quality might be more important than local development.
1. As an employee of #SUSE, I need to mention that we actually have one completely European enterprise Linux distribution with over thirty [!] years of experience. We are perfectly ready to serve anybody who wants to switch from any US-centric distro.
2. Even if you don’t want to pay for it, I don’t think #Debian (although SPI is American), or #Ubuntu are exactly slaves to US whims (and I don’t even know what is a domicile of #Arch). And, of course, #openSUSE is gratis as well.
Odd. On #SuSE #MicroOS my #podman #containers suddenly aren't able to reach the internet anymore.
When checking the routes with `podman unshare --rootless-netns ip r s` i'm also missing everything except the local podman network.

Want #Linux support for out-of-date Red Hat Enterprise Linux or CentOS? How about support for SUSE Enterprise Linux until 2047? Then #SUSE is your Linux distributor.

By the way, here is the “behind the scenes” video!
I'm not a SuSE user (anymore), but this video (and many others in this series) inspires me every time I watch it! Great job, and you can have whatever opinion you want about Justin Timberlake, but it's a great song that takes you away and makes your day more cheerful. Was just flushed into my timeline again on YouTube and I just have to share it with the (Fediverse) world.
This Ansible role is used to manage SUSE Linux system registrations with the SUSE Customer Center (SCC) or a local Subscription Management Tool (SMT) server. It automates the process of registering and deregistering systems, as well as managing additional products and modules on a SUSE system

Hello Linux enthusiasts - we've asked for your favorite Linux distro , but now I want to know - what features of your Linux distro make you stay with that distribution? Is it the package manager, the simplicity, the software (or software choices), or even the UI? We would love to know!
