Portland showed up today! Tens of thousands who’ve had enough. #handsoff #pdx #Democracy
Finished the folding bike today too.
Upgraded the stem to a metal one, and to adapt to any standard handlebars. New 7 speed shifter to replace the broken grip shifter. New brake levers, new grips. Replaced the saddle with one I had on another bike. Installed lighter removable plastic fenders. Added a bottle or travel mug holder. Bought a Rhinowalk bag.
Looking to sell it. US$150. I have too many bikes now. Please be local. Prefer you can come get it from me.
It was a fun project. I learned a lot.

I was in a sea of people today at the main #HandsOff rally in Portland, Oregon! Here is a video of the march wrapping around the west entry ramp onto the Morrison Bridge. I’ve read an estimate of 3000 folks there today but I bet it was a lot more.

Anyone in the #pdx area happen to have an old PC with an ISA slot gathering dust they’d like to offload?
Minimum reqs are 1 ISA slot and at least 486dx and either onboard Ethernet or another slot. I’d prefer something that also has 2 pci slots and is Pentium-class, but the ISA part is what’s hard to find and I can stick the pci cards in something else if i need to.
Yeah, so, hey, #Portland? We need to *utterly obliterate* these ridiculous estimates. Show the fuck up tomorrow. It’s going to cost my #ActuallyAutistic ass a lot to attempt this, so many of the rest of you can get there, too. #PDX
