The German language has slightly longer words compared to English. E.g. “Gewandheitsklettertunnel” means “having fun”.

Surprise romaji!
Is it for emphasis? Is it because you can't make an arc with just the three characters in やすい or even やす〜い? Who knows!
My fave bit is Ū since the macron isn't needed to spell the word, just to express enthusiasm
Are there any alternatives to Duolingo that respect your privacy and generally just let you learn in your own way and at your own pace without a lot of frustration? I really miss Duolingo, but I got so tired of its nonsense that I deleted it long ago.

Another unusual furigana - kanji on kanji!
I guess 丑三つ時 is too obscure or poetic for their expected readers so they added 2時 to clarify what it meant. (from ゆるキャラ ン2)
Now I want recursive furigana where 2時 could have にじ written in even tinier text next to it!
Hiragana vs katakana usage! Even with the same word, Nadeshiko uses hiragana, while Aoi gets katakana. Perhaps it's reinforcing Aoi's accent? (from ゆるキャン1)
Unusual furigana!
Using kanji as furigana on katakana! Presumably シュラフ is less common than 寝袋, so the first couple of times it appears they give the meaning. (from ゆるキャン1)
English-ish katakana on kanji! I'm not sure which word they expect the reader to know. Maybe they're saying レクイエム, which means 鎮魂歌? (from Chainsaw Man)
I love all the fun and interesting things Japanese does to play with furigana and its 4 writing systems. Nonstandard furigana, but also what writing system is used for different effects

My Adult Coloring Book: Enchanted Jewish Blessings & Traditions has been getting the sweetest reviews—and one of the things people love most is how it teaches pronunciation in a fun, easy, and creative way!
It’s more than just a coloring book—it’s a beautiful blend of art, language, and tradition.
Perfect for gifting (or keeping!) this holiday season.

Added a new calendar to track reviews. Level 1 = daily, L2 = 2 days, L3 = 4 days, L4 = 8 days, L5 = 16 days, L6 = 32 days, L7 = 64 days. Might add another level or an archive once enough cards are super-super easy. I write out the answers on paper to help the learning process.
Duolingo-style exercises but with real-world content like the news
Aaand the Leitner Box system is live! I'm applying it in the digital sphere, in Workflowy. Looking very positive so far as I've actually been reviewing my flashcards consistently, something I've been struggling with for the past year or so.
The manual aspect of this system is an important part of the process for me. Super cool bonus: Workflowy automatically emails my work to me, every day! Love how it's not trapped inside a proprietary app.
I've been learning Spanish, and tonight I hit kind of a mini-milestone. I typed out a whole-ass sentence en Español and then checked it against two different translation apps and my Spanish was SPOT ON. I'm pretty proud of this!
Comprehensible Māori
I've compiled a list of TV show & movies for beginners to intermediates to watch in te reo Māori. Any suggestions are welcome.

Languages don’t just allow us to communicate – they also shape our perception of what surrounds us, and ourselves.

If you took in-person classes for learning the Dutch language in Amsterdam, and you felt they helped, can you tell me where you took them? I need to get to at least A2 by November, but preferably B1. (I'm at A1 right now, but would do a refresher no problem)
If its after 17:00 on weekdays, the closer to the rings the better. If its weekends, it can be anywhere in Amsterdam.
I'm looking to sign up with my roommate
Thank you Canada for trusting in my resources and helping to make them best sellers!
