This DIY experimental reactor harnesses the Birkeland-Eyde process
Oh wow, the #FreeBSD #Linuxulator is just magic! I setup an Ubuntu #LinuxJail as described in the linked wiki and was able to compile and flash #Arduino code to my Uno using #PlatformIO, which is absolutely mind blowing because the tools for compiling are not available for "freebsd_amd64", yet in this Linux environment (not emulated, not a VM, just a translation layer), the Linux binaries were able to compile and then flash to the USB device (using the FreeBSD kernel… https://tobykurien.com/post-1744211915

I built a latency meter with an Arduino and a photo transistor to answer one question: Is click-to-photon latency higher on Wayland than on X11?
And the answer is: Yes, actually.
42 ms on X11, compositing off
56 ms on X11, compositing on
64 ms on Wayland
71 ms on Windows 10
Tested with Plasma 6.3.4 and Firefox 137. I will improve my methods and confirm these numbers. See replies for details.

Forgot your safe combination? This #Arduino-controlled autodialer can crack it for you - https://blog.arduino.cc/2025/04/01/forgot-your-safe-combination-this-arduino-controlled-autodialer-can-crack-it-for-you/ "design quirks tend to eliminate specific number ranges and can help the cracker find one or two dials through feel alone before moving to brute-forcing."
Minimalist, Lo-Fi, programmatic minimalism.
I've implemented a Lo-Fi Orchestra, Arduino version of an extract of Philip Glass' Einstein on the Beach. More specifically, part of Knee Play 1.
In this version the HT16K33 is performing the voice number parts alongside a synthesizer for organ and voice sounds.

Duppa LED Ring Encoder MIDI CC Controller - Part 3
My #hamradio club had an “intro to #arduino” lab today. It was the first time I made any type of circuit since a physics lab my freshman year of college. Here are some examples of increasingly complex blinking lights.
I’m still not sure what I’ll use this for (which is why I never got into Arduinos in the first place) but it was fun building these simple circuits!
Quake ported to Arduino Nano Matter. [Using only 276kb RAM]
Nicola Wrachien with Silicon Labs created this fun handheld, porting Quake using the Arduino Nano Matter. For easy playing a custom controller shaped board was designed with joysticks and a screen.
