Had some surgery on two toes (one on each foot, and one more surgery to go) and with bandages, it was hard to wear stockings and shoes. So it's been barefoot, sandals and bandages during the crazy weather that was March. Bandages are done today, but stockings are a go! Will spend the weekend shoe shopping as literally none of my shoes will fit. So still in sandals.

Got my new #running toy today: Nike Alphafly 3 Premium! Went on Zwift #treadmill for a quick 5K progressive run: started at pace 9'44"/mi and ended at 6'27"/mi (peak 6'19"/mi), and my max HR was only 163bpm?!

About the #shoes: the added bubbly cushion definitely makes the shoes bouncier and perceivably helped when running at faster pace, but it'll get some used to. I picked these over ASICS Metaspeed Paris because I was still heel-striking which destroyed my 230+-mile old Metaspeed Sky...

I´ve been planning to walk one of the long-distance walking trails (414 km total so yes, long) for.... well years, and then broken up into day trips. This past fall I did a very small start. Tomorrow is the next part, with a much longer walk planned than last fall.

Equal parts excited and daunted by the walk planned. I have gotten very slow so this might be an all-day experience...

I remember like it was yesterday. I ordered MSCHF Super Baby sneakers and waited for their arrival. I was really nervous mostly because of the various unexpected circumstances that occurred during delivery. But when they finally arrived I was so happy that I was shaking from joy. I do not absolutely regret spending money on them. I love those shoes.

Buying new shoes. Walking shoes. Either spend $5 on cheap shoes repeatedly month after month or buy good shoes. Shoes like these I had before. Lasted 6 months. Now it's breakfast out. Guess my wife should not tell me to go. Yippee!

Il faut dire que le cuir de 1.4mm, et de 2.6mm, des #tanneries Chapat tient sacrément la route, c'est indécent au départ car raide et épais, mais on le regrette pas après.
