Happy St Patrick's Day, and here's the final beer (part 14) of our series 'There's more to Irish stout than just Guinness'. With a name like this, of course, it had to be Shamrock Pinnacle by Lacada.
It's 4.8% ABV and more of a hoppy stout than the creamy nitros that were featured earlier in this series. Expect a lovely bitter chocolate vein running through it alongside a faint wisp of walnut and coconut.
Sláinte!
With St Patrick's Day tomorrow, here's Part 13 of 'There's more to Irish stout than just Guinness' - Big Fish by Bullhouse Brew Co.
Just like that worldwide beer, this is also 4.2% ABV and served via nitro - but hold on! The difference is Big Fish is enjoyable Creamy, nutty, dark chocolate and a whiff of roasted coffee beans all make for a great St Patrick's Day trial run

In the run up to St Patrick's Day, Part 12 of 'There's more to Irish stout than just Guinness' is the wonderfully named Artie by Boundary boundary in Belfast.
This 4.2% ABV nitro stout can be found always pouring in the brewery taproom and The John Hewitt pub. It's creamy, slightly smoky and a bit chestnutty. Creamy smoky nuts? What's not to like? Enjoy
The run up to St Patrick's Day continues with Part 11 of 'There's more to Irish stout than just Guinness' and Black by Portadown brewery McCrackens.
This 4.5% ABV dry Irish stout is maybe a bit jumpy out of the can but it's deliciously roasty with subtle hues of bitter coffee and dark chocolate. Enjoy!

Aye it's only Thursday but the St Patrick's weekend begins with Part 10 of 'There's more to Irish stout than just Guinness' - Spectre by @mournemountainsbrewery
This is the driest stout in the series - it's 4.1% ABV and deliciously dry with a roasted barley and dark chocolate bitterness.
Huge thanks to brewer Gareth for winging over some cans. Enjoy!
