MacArthur Foundation increases giving by 1% to respond to fascist induced crisis
Via AP- Palfrey said the foundation would increase giving from 5% of its endowment, which is the minimum required by the Internal Revenue Service, to at least 6% for the next two years. The foundation reported it had $8.7 billion in assets in 2023 and it pays out around $400 million annually.
…On top of seeking the elimination of #DEI & “#environmental #justice” teams throughout the federal government, the #Trump EOs also directed agency heads to draw up lists of publicly traded #companies, #universities & #nonprofits to potentially *investigate* over certain DEI practices. The orders also conditioned government contracts & grants on companies & organizations certifying that they don’t engage in DEI practices that may violate non-#discrimination laws.

I'm researching Period Tracking apps. Euki is a "a non-profit, open-source project" and they had a glowing write up from Privacy Not Included.
They update fairly regularly, the last being in December, however the last commit to the android apps repo was from October. The iOS side of things is in the same state.
I'm a bit confused at this point, obviously it's not good to be saying you're open source when you're not keeping that source code up to date, so I tried contacting them asking about this via their "Contact Us" form. I've had no response back.
I haven't exhausted all means of contact but I'm wondering whether anyone knows anything on Fedi. Hopefully I'm just on the wrong repo or something but the open sourcing was fairly recent so maybe they've had complications.
