Been working on this project for a while, but think I'm ready to make it public. Hope to write more about it soon.
"The videos you are seeing are news clips from the day before today.
The text is generated from the subtitles for those videos, alongside a journal of mine from late October to early November 2016.
The video ordering is purely random, but the text follows its own internal logic. "
I like the idea of being able to create a play, mimicking our in-screen lives. And if it can take fictional, or even SF turns, it is even cooler.

Re-posting because I'm still kind of in love with this project. A Markov-powered homage to Gertrude Stein's "Tender Buttons":
@raphael New netart piece migration: evasive.tech costs now 100+€ per year. I can’t afford that! The new domain name is https://oo8.be/evasive.tech
It makes me sad, this project means a lot to me, plus I had a printed press coverage of this project (Liberation), it has been exhibited several times, and I will have no way to redirect. It is insane how fragile everything is online. Host carefully, or learn not to let things go.

I am going to let go the domain name https://snow-on-gpu.online because it is too expensive. I refuse to pay so much for an art piece and will reconsider buying domain names for new projects in the future. After some thoughts I think this is a form of fetishism that refers to nothing but an expensive supermarket of words.

"Welcome to the nettime mailing list!"

"[The internet mailing list Nettime, created in 1995, 29 years ago] has been widely recognized for its seminal role stimulating and disseminating ideas about Netzkritik or Net Critique, net.art, and tactical media and pioneered practices such as "collaborative filtering"."
#introduction This account showcases artistic websites, net art pieces and uncommon online content. It is hand-curated, and updated manually.
The aim of Revela is to bring visibility to art practices that are hardly compatible with social media algorithms, art institutions and art market, or our economy of attention.
