You don't have to agree with Zionism
You don't have to believe that Zionism is Jewish civil rights.
You don't have to agree with the Zionist idea of Jewish self-determination.
But you do have to accept the following:
Holding all Zionists responsible for the actions of a few politicians in a minority government is not just wrong, it's a form of hate.
Zionism has been part of Jewish thought since were forcibly expelled from our homeland 2,000 years ago, and even in its modern form is older than Herzel and the European Zionist movement.
Saying Zionism is a hate group or hateful ideology is disgusting and inverting the meaning of hate.
70-80% of all Jews are Zionists, and Zionists live around the world.
Using minority viewpoints to say what is and isn't part of Judaism is gross and tokenizing.
Netanyahu is a murderer wanted by the International Criminal Court (ICC). His crimes were committed with the support of American elites like Trump, Elon Musk, Joe Biden, and the American Zionist movement, which has hijacked the current government. Today, the US government is composed of Christian Zionists and Zionists or Zionist sympathizers.

Years ago, a prominent person told me that I had to re-label my Zionism to something else to not have it be confused with Kahanism (my words not hers).
Then let's see the anti-Zionists who argue for the destruction of Israel make a different term to differentiate them from those that wish to see Israel democratically merge with Palestine through a shared mandate.

This is the most important article I've read on antisemitism in a while, talking about October 7th, but also the role of Christian and Muslim thinking on Jews, the role of Russia and the Soviet Union on modern antisemitism, and the ways that Jews have been excluded from all avenues of life in the diaspora.
Non-Jews, I ask you to please read this and as importantly, spread this message, the article and also the history. Help your friends see the historical context of their actions, the way Jews are excluded from society, that their "enlightened anti-Zionism" is an echo of mid-20th Century Russian propaganda. If you "feel bad about antisemitism" then this is how you take action.
