"In March, Amazon announced that it would use AI to help farmers in Aragon, #Spain use water more efficiently."

“These datacentres use water that comes from northern Aragon, where I am,” [Farmer Chechu Sánchez] said. “They consume water – where do they take it from? They take it from you, of course.”

@macrumors @genecowan I'm just gonna leave this here: They are almost all "Sold by #AnkerDirect ", "Ships from #Amazon"

SO...they're NOT items that were tariffed in the first place. They couldn't have been! Amazon had them in their fulfillment centers already!

This sucks! They're raising prices on items that had no #tariff on them!

They've been raising randomly to this price since February (via CamelCamelCamel - see 2nd image))!

Just ordered a Kobo Libra Colour so now the only money I’m paying that asshole Bezos is for a couple of S3 buckets that I haven’t had time to move off of AWS.

Very much looking forward to the time when his fascist collaborator ass doesn’t get a single euro cent from me.

(Another plus: Kobo works with Overdrive and I checked and Dublin libraries support it so you should be able to check out library books directly on the device. And I’m quite looking forward to a little bit of colour and the notetaking features.)
