The CEO of U.S. retailer Target plans to meet with civil rights leader the Rev. Al Sharpton this week. Target eliminated some of its diversity, equity and inclusion policies and programs after President Donald Trump's inauguration, and has experienced declining footfall subsequently. Rev. Sharpton's National Action Network has encouraged consumers to avoid retailers that scaled back DEI initiatives. While he hasn't called out Target specifically, he has said he will consider it if the company doesn't reaffirm its commitment to Black businesses, employees and consumers. Here's more from CNBC. 😂😂 Traget is literally trolling stupid American consumers.

Why else would they be selling 15 Kate Spade branded TRASH BAGS for $10?

They are literally laughing at all of us.

And this isn’t unique to #target. When I was at the little market down the road I heard a woman in the frozen food section talking to one of the employees about how his boss is laughing at us because they left the regular price tag next to the sale price tag showing that we would save exactly one cent by taking advantage of the “sale“. (I love the employees who made the decision to leave the original price tag there though.)

I found out about this ridiculousness because YouTube showed me a video made by a woman who’s trying to tell us how to best score these items. 🤡 NO THANK YOU SCAMMERS NO THANK YOU.

And target must be getting desperate for some foot traffic because if you want that $10 strawberry bag charm that has no purpose at all except to hang off of your bag and get caught on things, you have to go into the store to get it. You can’t order it online so if you really want to waste your money you’re gonna have to go into the target store because that is “exclusive”.

I don’t know anything about Kate Spade other than how she died, but it seems really disrespectful to her life and talents to sell a garbage bag in her name.

A Tale of Two LPs, in my continuing effort to find alternatives to #Amazon and #Target for my non-obscure online record purchases. (Loved them because you can't beat their ease of returns and Lordy, the lack of QC of new #vinyl these days...)

1. #BarnesAndNobel:

Shipped in a soft manila envelope, #LP held onto LP-sized corrugated cardboard square with an elastic band, one digipak #CD secured to it a little aggressively in one layer of plastic wrap.

LP arrives with jacket corners bent (but plays flawlessly, so ok, just sayin).

2. MillionsOfRecords.com :

Corrugated box within box, LP wrapped like a mummy in plastic itself and further wrapping securing to it 2 jewel boxed CDs held motionless. Perfect, perfect, and perfect. (I've actually bought vinyl & CDs from these guys for years. Recommend, esp for #reggae.👍)
