Can’t stand how streaming services are behaving more and more like old school tv. Back to watching 1 episode a week or wait 8 to 12 weeks on average for all the episodes to become available. And now they are starting to add commercials as well. #1923 #wheeloftime #boschlegacy

#WheelofTime season 1 was a real minor league affair, with sporadic hints of powerful storytelling. But I just finished s03e04, and folks, this show is truly aiming for the big leagues. I can't say if my perspective is off, but that was an hour very, very well spent.

It still helps watching with a book reader to fill in some gaps though. I read the series about 11-12 years ago and remember little, so I ask my partner for background probably half a dozen times per episode.

okay #wheelOfTime is still crushing it. it occurred to me that a lot of #oobe's i have read or heard about, many of them could be happening in a place like Tel'aran'rhiod.

then others occur in strange liminal membrane dimensions or parallel dimensions; who knows. this reality is only becoming more mysterious the older i get. it's nice, i think.

General notice to #SFF and #WheelOfTime nerds: the ongoing TV show has _really_ hit its stride in Season 3. If you bounced off and/or didn't bother checking it out previously, I /strongly/ recommend giving it another chance.

Nearly every aspect of the show that suffered in the first or second season has notably improved (and I'm saying that while having mostly enjoyed those seasons). The actors are really inhabiting their characters, the plotting/etc is tighter, the effects less cheesy, &c.
