Had to ship one of my gizmos back for warranty service and UPS reported that I needed to supply info to get it through customs.
It was transiting from Texas to *checks notes* Kansas. 
Either there's been a technical error or this border security stuff is getting out of hand.

| R.I.P Natenom One downside of any #BromptonElectric is though that their (non-essential) Android app (and likely the iOS app as well) insists on an online account registration (why?!?) even if the phone has no internet access. #WTF?

So no, apparently anyone can just take a screenshot in a Signal group chat and no one else in the chat knows.

Also, a reporter (CNN) just said that they were informed by a US government official that the government frequently uses Signal for discussions, but that might change.
