Nr 1. Start a spreadsheet 
Nr 2. Start collecting data about YouTube and Twitch channels using free tools such as: SullyGnome, SocialBlade, or even YouTube Advanced Search. 
Look for channels that played games in the same genre your game is. And fairly recent ones as well!

Ooh, ok so this one's a first, we started off the stream playing a bit of the original ToeJam & Earl games on the Sega Genesis since the MC.Eternal server wasn't up in time, so this marks the first time we streamed a 4:3 layout, and it's a bit rough. Eventually we'll update to the modern layout but for now we're still in the "glitchy" overlay era.
Once we got back into MC.Eternal, we worked more on the colony's infrastructure and resources delivery systems. We've only got a few more streams here before Terraria's Master Mode update dropped, which should be fun to revisit!
