Nice this morning hiking on Beartooth Highway from the closure, up to 2nd switchback. 2300-2500m then back. 1C or so, just lite W wind. Still good snowpack on the sides, but the road is not skiable, even the margins. Spring plowing up to the 3335m Beartooth Pass has begun, opening should be 23MAY

This is really upsetting. Not only is this Idaho mining company run by a scumbag, but there’s lots of asbestos in the mines in Montana. Will a right wing company from the most Nazi town in Idaho allow their employees PPE? What about the people who have to breathe the air near the mines?
