Man, I already knew they were going to put

**checks notes for the fortieth time**

Cristiano Ronaldo in GAROU 2 #CoTW but it's still just bizarre. I must be out of touch with the NoRmIeS because I can't understand THAT being a crossover anyone was waiting for

Also, a "Thanks, I hate it moment". predictably goofy as heck (not endearing)

Shoutout for him not voicing himself in either English or Japanese too

Also still dreaming of "Tojo Clan Legends" from guest team in #KingOfFighters

I've been doing some more Monster: Ancient Cline datamining, and came across a pretty interesting unused sprite. A few characters have test renders left behind - this game uses prerendered sprites, and it looks like these were single frames done to make sure the characters would look good at their intended size in-game. One character's looks a little different though...

This is the sample sprite for Ysengrin, the only unused character to have his own sprites at this point in dev. But... his is pretty different from the other characters. He's staring straight ahead in a neutral pose - this
isn't simulating any actual in-game poses. This is a 2D fighting game, there's never a point at which he'd use a pose like this.

By comparison, Alto's sample sprite is designed to look like one of his normal in-game sprites so it's a visualization of how he'd actually look in-game. It's not
exactly one of this real poses; he never holds his axe like this. But I assume this was posed before any of his animations were finished, so it hadn't been 100% decided how he was going to move.

I wonder if this is a sign Ysengrin's animations basically hadn't even been started yet and they didn't have ideas about how to pose him yet? Or maybe there was something else it was meant to show off that's not obvious here...

New instance, new #introduction post!

Hi, my name is Ed! I go by he/him, and as stated on my profile am a huge heckin' nerd. Came over to this neck of the woods after discovering its existence, as it seemed a bit more descriptive of my general vibes than my previous residence.

General interests (ie stuff you'll find me posting about or retooting) include but are not limited to: #FanArt , #miniatures , #paintingMiniatures , #warhammer , #classicGaming , #indieGaming , #linuxGaming , #fightingGames , #fgc , #programming , #selfHosting , #comics , #sciFi

Oh no... I just got an email from Bridget... says "We urgently require you to respond to this letter".... She knows I've not only been just playing Potemkin, I actually haven't touched #GGST in a few months.

Brisket, understand, I haven't even been playing King of Fighters, it's been complicated, it's been a bit tricky to get back into the groove with the #FGC, cut me some slack, my actual PC has JUST arrived!

Guess I better ignore this message, this way I can maintain plausible deniability
