#Trump is due to meet #ElSalvador's President Nayib #Bukele at the White House on Monday. Trump told reporters on Friday his admin would bring #KilmarAbregoGarcia back if #SCOTUS directed it to.

Asked on Friday if Trump would seek the return of Abrego Garcia when he meets Bukele, White House propagandist Karoline Leavitt said SCOTUS ruling made clear the admin’s responsibility was to "facilitate Abrego Garcia’s return, not to effectuate the return." ← that’s incorrect.

CNN only cited one man who was deported & imprisoned that likely isn't a gang member, but there's evidence that there're at least 15 men who aren't members of the Tren de Aragua gang.

NYT's Haberman saysTrump's attacks have upset his own staff & other Republicans. Some conservative judges have expressed concern that Trump's been advocating for impeaching Judge Boasberg.

#Bukele posted a video on Sun of what he says is 238 members of Tren de Aragua arriving in #ElSalvador. He said they would be transferred to CECOT, the Terrorism Confinement Center in the country, for 1 year.

#MarcoRubio, #Trump’s secy of #State, last month said Bukele had agreed to accept deportees from the US of ANY NATIONALITY [including US #citizens]. Bukele's social media posts on Sun refer to "a very low fee" that the #US paid to El Salvador for the #deportations.

there's a lot of shenanigans in #ElSalvador's public finances related to both #China and #crypto... for instance the commerce secretary Howard Lutnick's massive crypto bank for criminals (#Tether) is relocating its headquarters there as we speak.
