Ça raconte quoi ? Au début de votre existence vous êtes un grand mammifère, puis vous avez le pouvoir de devenir quelque chose de plus petit comme une coccinelle, un virus, puis quelque chose de plus grand comme un sapin, un continent. Vous apprenez à être vous, quoi que vous soyez, à vous lier aux autres, quoi qu’iels soient.
Pourquoi c’est chouette ? Everything, de David OReilly, est un jeu à part qui attire par la promesse “Tu peux incarner n’importe quoi” : de l’infiniment petit à l’infiniment grand. On passe de l’un à l’autre, on “chante” pour se connaitre soi, on “danse” pour se lier aux autres. Puis on devient autre chose, et ainsi de suite, dans une exploration infinie. Ces explorations existentielles sont accompagnées de citations audio d’Alan Watts, un écrivain ayant passé sa vie à s'intéresser aux spiritualités, philosophies et religions, allant du christianisme au bouddhisme, en passant par le taoïsme et l’hindouisme.
La nature est une construction sociale Dans Par-delà Nature et Culture, l’anthropologue Philippe Descola propose quatres ontologies de rapports que les humains ont à leur environnement : –Naturalisme : les humains bien que fondés sur la même matière que le reste des choses ont une intériorité singulière que les non-humains ne partagent pas. C’est la posture occidentale moderne, où seuls les humains ont une âme et les animaux sont des machines. –Animisme : en symétrie, les humains et les non-humains ont une intériorité identique, mais leur physicalité diffère. Ainsi la rivière est une personne et elle est parfois en colère contre celleux qui la dérangent.
