A work in progress....still

I want to pull data from my utility about my electricity usage for #homeassistant dashboard. My utility does not officially provide this functionality.

However, they use a solution from #SEW, which is "Smart Energy Water" (https://sew.ai). They used to be called Smart Utility Systems, but it was sus.

SEW provides solutions for utilities to do all their electric, water, and gas stuff. Smart Customer Mobile is their Web and native iOS/Android apps offering.

Those apps talk to private APIs. And to make sure these APIs remain private, iOS and Android apps encrypt the HTTP requests using AES/CBC/PKCS5Padding with a key derived from a string within a SecureConstant module (libnative-lib.so in #android). So far 8 or so apps under https://play.google.com/store/apps/developer?id=Smart+Energy+Water&hl=en-US use "PasswordPassword" as both the encryption key and IV.

Das Fiber Life Festival fand Ende März auf der ikonischen Tianmu Plaza in 杭州 statt. Das Festival drehte sich um FIBER. Also ganz klassisch um Wolle, Garne, Stoffe, Spinnen, Weben ... aber auch um Themen wie Recycling, Kunst und Life-Balance.

Doch auch um Textilien als Metapher für das Miteinander-Verwoben-Sein und eine Gemeinschaft von Gleichgesinnten.
