I was about to make a #donation to #signal, a #FOSS #software, but at the last step I've seen that it is protected by #reCAPTCHA, which is a #Google service.
I do not want to accept Google's #privacy policy, that's why I'm using Signal and not #whatsapp or others #GAFAM services. So unfortunately, if I cannot avoid Google to make a donation to Signal, I will avoid the donation.
Why is the donation service protected by Google?

I'd be prepared to bet that this approach has better #accessibility and works better with screen readers than things like #recaptcha and #hcaptcha, too.
