Red Matter (Multi, XP'd on PS5/PSVR2)
As an agent, code named Epsilon, you are tasked with retrieving classified documents from an abandoned "enemy" base on Saturn's moon Rhea in a SciFi cold war setting. This is basically a "suspense puzzle" game, as there are several moments that make you tense, but this is absolutely not a horror/gory game. Some mild "jump scares" that only the most skittish would jump at.

Got this one on sale for under $10 the same time I got GT7. I would recommend getting it on sale, actually, as it's a very short experience. I have 4 hours played and I'm the type that likes to explore, tho there's not a whole lot of exploration here. It's fairly linear and you have clear cut goals to achieve. (I missed 3 trophies so I will likely play it again just to 100% it cause they're clearly noted so, easy peasy Platinum, why not)

The mood and setting of the game are excellent. It truly encapsulates the feel of an abandoned base on a moon in the far reaches of the Solar System. Music is very complimentary as well. The controls are good, if slow. This is a good game for new VR players. As I've been running around in No Man's Sky and GT7 this game felt a bit slow to me, lol. The puzzles aren't all that hard but do require some thinking which is cool.

All in all, this is a neat short experience with an interesting story and a bit of a twist at the end that sets up the sequel (that I will have to look for on sale in the future, heh). 👍 👍

Rolled credits on Horizon: Call of the Mountain this evening. Was pretty good. Didn't have the best space to play it in, since this is an RV so I had to play sitting, but it still was pretty fun. Hell, I was even sweating a bit after a couple hours of swinging my arms around lol. Sore shoulder from "holding" a bow out in front of me for all the several mins long boss fights too, heh. I might do the challenges, and I did miss a few collectibles..

Thinking I am going to absolutely pick up GT7 next time it's on sale. Still gonna get a PC adapter, tho I've been looking into PSVR2 on Linux and it's not great, currently. So I will likely have to use it with partner's lappy I got her Xmas before last. It's got a decent AMD chip so it should do ok with the VR, I think.

Otherwise, for now the fancy hat mostly gonna be a No Man's Sky device, methinks. Now that I've gotten used to it I dunno if I wanna go back to playing that normally 😆

Ordered a 10’ usb 2 extension as the Sony support page for Bluetooth issues has a lot of voodoo to try and one is get the adapter as far away from USB 3 ports as possible. So I’ll put it up the wall and see if that helps. It will be almost to the ceiling pointing down. #psvr2
