This is karma getting you, folks. You think cruise ships are great? Inauguration parties with people flying in quickly from all over the world just for this are great? And putting some shitty AI on top of it is great?

Back in January, my eldest daughter came over to stay with me for a while in #Malaga with me, and we had a day out in the city. We went to the brilliant OXO museum, for which I'm still to sort the pictures, but I just came across this one.

Normally, these kinds of street performers don't register with me, but these two guys really captured the moment. They looked the part and really did have the feel of people in a rush.

Todas esas casas no estaban ahí hace 10 años.
Todo eso era un monte verde donde vivían desde ardillas a camaleones.
El crecimiento de las ciudades acaba con la vida salvaje.
Mientras, en el centro de la ciudad, hay multitud de casas vacías o que se dedican a turismo, y los jóvenes (y no tan jóvenes) no tienen oportunidad de encontrar casa en su barrio a un precio asequible.
Este proceso no es "ley de vida" sino que se ha organizado a propósito y podemos cambiarlo votando a otro tipo de gobernantes.
Por cierto, que en el cerro de San Cristóbal la ONG Aulaga hizo hace años varias campañas de reforestación, y aquellos árboles están creciendo felizmente: algarrobos, pinos, almendros, encinas...
