Even outside of <waves at all the things going on in our country>, you never know what people are dealing with.
It takes •••so little energy••• to ask how someone’s day is going, to hold the door for somebody, to help someone put that heavy bag of cat litter in their car and push away their shopping cart.
Be kind to one another! It’s free!
Saw a small act of heroism. A lady ran past me barefoot along the beach screaming that someone had taken her bag. I didn’t see it happen or how the everyday hero stopped the robber, but a guy got her bag back and she gratefully embraced him.
Reminder: we can always do SOMETHING to help someone.

I started in young years when I worked in gastronomy.
Customers were very quick with complaints and nagging but rarely told you if they were satisfied.
It makes me happy when the other person's eyes light up or they start to smile. Sometimes a nice conversation arises because people are amazed that people can be #kind.

nah, you •do• have to justify it, because that #cheeseburger is made out of someone's #flesh and someone's #breastmilk. 
nothing "honest" about that, as it takes an awful lot of denial to justify slicing someone's throat to give pleasure to your taste buds.
