I have a whole rant kicking around my head about why humanoid #robots are intellectually lazy and analogous to chattel slavery with respect to process design.

People who want to just throw humanoid robots at a problem are folks who don’t want to do anything differently, they just want cheaper labor whose rights and emotions they don’t have to respect. It’s the goddamned Industrial Revolution all over again.

You can tell just by looking at who’s funding this ish as a primary focus (as opposed to those who are funding “me too” efforts because they’re anxious that they’ll miss out on something).
