@onelson I think I might have been the only person in the theater who liked that ending, but I love it

This was fun. Let's do it again next month
I'm interested to hear about Crypticon in Seattle.
I remember the brown panties.
This is a really long story, lady.
Local wildlife is wildin' out
This is some real Friday the 13th The Final Chapter shit.
Johnny gooned that kid.
~~~you've got to~~~ KEEP QUIET!!!
Something new I noticed: Johnny grabs the gun and points it away from himself to not get shot, but he *also* makes sure the shot hits the 4-wheeler, so no-one can get away.
Huh, I always remember the log split as being from stem to stern.
These kills are all pretty good from a technical execution perspective. A lot of this is stuff I haven't seen in another movie, or even if the gist has been done before it's shot in an interesting new way.
Is that a Texas switch as Johnny moves in front of the camera so they can sub in a dummy?
Midnight Wood Splittin'
@cinn48 I enjoy the Peanuts movie vibe of it, as we basically only see the waist down from the ranger and the kids
I love how we shift POV for this part of the movie. And it's to the one guy who knows the lore and has been through this before.
That's some fucking Wolf Creek shit right there
Maybe they coulda got Chris Elliott to play the ranger — who I guess I never really connected up with the ranger we see at the start
The sound of peepers at dusk.... just like home.
(If I hadn't said it enough yet)
here's your old coot warning, just too late
