#TheGate for #Amiga devlog

I'm adding sounds to the game but I've to admit that with the limited channels available is not a joke
The initial idea was to use channel 1 & 2 for the music (or for the ambience sounds if music is off), while the channel 3 & 4 for the sound effects.
The problem is that I can have 2 looping sounds at the same time leaving me without free channels for additional 1 shot sounds.
#TheGate for #Amiga update
---
After a very long search for sound effects and even more long conversion process to Amiga #8svx format using #Audacity , I finally started to add sounds to the game!
- Footsteps of the hero added (looping sound)
- Jump sound added
A bit tricky to handle sounds, especially looping sounds but I did it and YES! It works!
Some more progresses on the script editor: Cursor's position
File name text box
Changed content indicator
Undo/Redo
Load
Save
Save As
Cancel
Copy/Cut/Paste
Click on command -> Insert template at current cursor's position
The list is long but the code is pretty easy, I hope to complete this part in 2-3 days

I'm still working on the game editor for my #Amiga game called #TheGate .
I've started today to work on the script editor, it's the window on the right and it's a bit horrible right now, but it's a starter.
The idea is to fill the left column with the available commands and to use the right column for the script editing.
I'm unsure if I've to add styled text (for the keywords) or not... maybe I'll add it at a later point if really needed.
Btw, yes, the project is still active!
