Git repository. I've written automated test code at my job in Python and they haven't been interested in it yet since I work at a C# shop. That said, I've been working on it on my work PC running Windows and my personal machine running Linux as time allows.
Not sure if this fits into what you're doing but sounds like the easiest approach if you're looking to keep things in sync. If you don't want to use GitHub or something on the outside you could run a Git server locally.
