I don't live there anymore but I was born and raised in Greece and, although I've lived in different parts of the UK for a number of years, when I was there I only ever visited Birmingham a couple times and considered going to uni there for a master's. I think this song is a good choice for me for this week's theme.

Yeah, I finished the crazy project which is completely sewn by hand - including a warm polar fabric lining. (The only things I've sewn so far have been tablecloths and cushions and I waited 2 yrs for a part of my machine.) I used this: youtube.com/watch?v=rguHHZFR-k for the pattern.
All fabrics are recycled from old cloths (I still have enough for a waistcoat). @sewing

An elk plushy wears a newsboy cap. It's made from emerald green velours and a brighter green fine corduroy with red roses looking like a painting.
The top of the cap: 6 alternating parts meet under a mat red button in the same red as the darkest part of the roses. I found the button in a "treasure box" at our embroidery festival - there, people can take out used buttons by a donation.

I like the #PeakyBlinders chic, it's becoming cold, and for a journalist it could be a must 🤭 I'm working on the last steps of my fully hand-made (without machine) #newsboyCap. I used this tutorial (one of the best forms, and it really works for the pattern).
I made it with fabric waste only and will show you the results later. I'll be able to sew the next ones on the repaired machine.
