Masking is not only super useful for not getting sick and avoiding pollen allergies it also helps with making the police state have to work harder to ID you. Always be masking at protests even if its outdoors.
Obviously a packed protest is also just straight up crowded enough that you should be masking for your health. It is very possible to get colds and flus and covid just from all the close proximity. No reason to get sick while doing civic good!
Wearing a mask is an act of refusal.
It is refusal to participate in a mass disabling event. It is refusal to leave behind disabled comrades. It is refusal to fall in line with the eugenicist logics at the heart of fascism. It is refusal to comply in advance with the mask bans.
