This is a concatenation of posts I originally made in 2016-2017--even more relevant today...

Most are familiar with the concept of #FUD—short for #Fear, #Uncertainty & #Doubt. It summarizes a strategy often used in marketing and political propaganda. Its effects are pernicious, divisive and lead to exploitation. Examples abound. Fear is a strong motivator! To resist FUD one must understand how it is practiced using the principles of #Deception, #Obfuscation and #Misdirection.

These FOOLS. Not only are they trying to defund the wind farms, they’re seeking to rip down the ones we already have.

Isn’t that a perfect demonstration of government waste? They want to spend money to destroy equipment and infrastructure that we spent money to build and put in place so people could have less expensive, less detrimental energy.

Now they want to spend money to destroy property so we can pay more for energy. Is this what they call “fiscally conservative”?

On gov't pages, they mass-deleted information about trans people and also changed "#LGBTQI+" to "#LGB".

Very chilling: A section discussing discrimination of trans people in Russia was memory-holed as well.

Trump moves to revoke clearances for officials who signed Hunter Biden letter

President Trump took executive action Monday to start revoking the security clearances of his former national security adviser, John Bolton, and dozens of intelligence officials who signed a letter in 2020 claiming emails found on a laptop owned by Hunter Biden bore the hallmarks of a Russian disinformation campaign.

Mr. Trump said in his order that the signers of the letter “willfully weaponized the gravitas of the Intelligence Community to manipulate the political process and undermine our democratic institutions.”

The letter at issue was signed by 51 former intelligence officials and released in October 2020.

Among those who signed the letter are former Defense Secretary #LeonPanetta, former Director of National Intelligence #JamesClapper, former #CIA and #NSA Director #MichaelHayden and former CIA Director #JohnBrennan.
