An observation on initiatives to combat the disinformation tool X:
- 4 initiatives started in Germany: #ByeByeElon, #LeaveX (although started by a Brazilian/Italian immigrant), efforts by several universities and @Freiheitsrechte suing X
- 2 In the Netherlands: #Detox and #MakeSocialsSocialAgain with great campaigns
- 1 in France: with #HelloQuitX and their app to help people find alternatives on Mastodon or BlueSky
- 1 in Spain: #juntas involving 120 civil society organizations
- 1 in Italy: lots of energy from Ban X in Europe
I miss the UK and Poland.

Dans le sillage des récentes élections américaines, notamment marquées par le ralliement à l’idéologie trumpiste de grandes entreprises du numérique telles que Meta (regroupant Facebook, Instagram et Whatsapp), nous ressentons une certaine urgence à envisager d’autres façons de faire, et donc : d’autres plateformes à utiliser qui ne seraient pas tenues par des milliardaires masculinistes.
