Whether or not the Conservatives supported the #FreedomConvoy ideologically (and this recent discovery of Conservative MP Andrew Lawton’s participation in a secret Telegram chat with the organizers certainly suggests at least some of them did), the Party chose to use the illegal occupation of Ottawa and the subsequent terrorisation of its citizens as a political opportunity to undermine Trudeau and the government.

I hate to say it, but this kind of soft-handedness by our courts is part of what drives people toward ‘tough on crime’ grifter candidates.

I mean, the Conservatives will likely stay mum in this particular case because complicity, but the public at large will see this as another betrayal by our ‘justice’ system.
