I spend part of my work day, verifying accounts.

This process often details people needing to submit their identification (driver's license or passport). You be surprised how many people do this, wanting to keep their account along with all their photos, videos, and to remain in contact with their friends and family.

Have you ever run a business or paid for us to display ads for a company? You too, in recent years, likely needed to be verified.

Facebook's origins is a website made by a guy in college (Mark Zuckerberg) for people to rate their thoughts on women (attractiveness, date ability, do ability, etc.). From the beginning, Facebook has always excelled on profiling people. And as it evolved, beyond its original purpose, it continued to excel at profiling people (advertisement, trends, etc.). You need to understand, we have a profile on you. Your thoughts, your hopes, your dreams, your fears, your wants, your needs, whether you are rich or poor, white or black, straight or LGBTQ+.
