Richard Rathe<p>Terrible Invasive Story 🙁 </p><p>I had a real treat the other day when a Green Tree Frog visited me in the hot tub. I used to see these almost every day, but no more. Spring used to bring a cacophony of frogs chirping, but no more.</p><p>The reason is "The Beast" aka the <a href="https://universeodon.com/tags/Invasive" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Invasive</span></a> <a href="https://universeodon.com/tags/CubanTreeFrog" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>CubanTreeFrog</span></a> which EATS OTHER TREE FROGS! They are huge and toad-like. I kill them when I find them, but the battle is already lost where I live in north <a href="https://universeodon.com/tags/Florida" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Florida</span></a>.</p><p>As you can see from the <a href="https://universeodon.com/tags/Map" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Map</span></a>, these invaders are moving north and are now <a href="https://universeodon.com/tags/Endemic" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Endemic</span></a> in my area (red circle). 👎 </p><p><a href="https://universeodon.com/tags/TreeFrogs" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>TreeFrogs</span></a> <a href="https://universeodon.com/tags/GreenTreeFrog" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>GreenTreeFrog</span></a> <a href="https://universeodon.com/tags/Ecology" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Ecology</span></a> <a href="https://universeodon.com/tags/Disaster" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Disaster</span></a> <a href="https://universeodon.com/tags/NaturePhotography" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>NaturePhotography</span></a></p>
