Lun (otra vez)1) Las penas del joven Werther Johann Wolfgang von Goethe (1774)Primer libro del año, aunque no lo incluiré en el reto de clásicos porque lo empecé en 2024. El libro es corto, pero he ido bastante lento con la lectura porque tuve la idea feliz de leerlo en versión original. Se me hizo un poco densa, en gran parte supongo que por el idioma, pero el estilo tampoco es particularmente fácil de leer, creo yo.Tenía pendiente esta novela porque soy un poco friki del Romanticismo, y se considera que Goethe da inicio a este movimiento (con matices pero no me voy a poner a dar la chapa que tampoco tengo ni idea), y en ese aspecto está súper interesante. No detallo mucho porque tampoco quiero destriparlo, la historia (sobre todo el final) puede impactar bastante de primeras, pero está bien no quedarse sólo con eso y darle unas vueltas a los temas que trata, y a cómo y porqué los aborda.Pongo también los trigger warnings porque tiene unos cuantos. El más presente es el suicidio y los problemas de salud mental (si estás en una mala situación, por favor no lo leas). En general, los temas muerte, enfermedad y violencia aparecen bastante. Por otra parte, la idea del amor es muy posesiva y hay bastante misoginia (esperable en un libro de 1774, lo que no lo hace menos chungo).Lo recomiendo si tienes interés en literatura de esa época y no te afectan mucho los triggers warnings que he mencionado. Si te apetece una lectura ligera y entretenida, esta no es una buena opción.
