Denn so sieht das aus wenn ein [mutmaßliches Nachbars-] Kind mutmaßlich ne Büroklammer in ne Kabeldose klemmt:
- Latenzen wie bei #Eutelsat #tooway ohne #PerformanceProxy und #Paketverlust wie #KaBand in nem Schneesturm!
Wenigstens ne Art Abdeckkappe wie bei Herdanschluss wäre 1NICE!
- die korrekte Lösung wäre natürlich #RechtAufGlasfaser samt #FTTH in jede #Wohnung in Form von #10GBit/s #Ethernet auf #OS2 (oder bei kurzer Inhouse-Verkabelung #OM5)-Faserpaaren!
Und ja, #SharedMedia wie #GPON / #XGPON sind nur was #Funkstörungen angeht weniger problematisch als #DOCSIS-#Kabel!

@WWSchoof @qwertyoruiop also it's pretty affordable and I'm pretty shure if they used #OS2 instead if #OM5 they'd constantly have to install dampeners to not burn out modules with too short fiber lenghts beibg used.
@qwertyoruiop the fact that #DTAG has a testing server that fast is surprising.
Normally #DeutscheTelekom's core network is so #underpeered that they got sued by #Cogent & #Lumen nee. #Level3 for insufficient capacity and abusing them as #upstream|s.
In return, I'm surprised they only got #10G there. I would've already expected #100G and #OM5 fiber everywhere...
