Mx. Luna Corbden<p>To my fellow autists out there who are frustrated at the meaninglessness of talking about the weather, remember that to your ancestors, knowledge of the weather probably saved their lives and made you possible.</p><p><a href="https://defcon.social/tags/ActuallyAutistic" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>ActuallyAutistic</span></a> <a href="https://defcon.social/tags/RVLife" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>RVLife</span></a> <a href="https://defcon.social/tags/OffGrid" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>OffGrid</span></a> <a href="https://defcon.social/tags/rewilding" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>rewilding</span></a></p>
Mx. Luna Corbden<p>Certainly part of this project is to live more "simply" (what a loaded word) and be closer to nature. Rewilding and all that. Unpack my colonialism to discover its downsides and the way it binds me to an unfulfilling life. Connect better to the way my ancestors lived. </p><p>Part of that is dealing with the emotions that come. Nature is incredibly destructive... and incredibly close. Nature is far less abstracted, though I'm aware that by having electricity, internet, propane, it *still is* abstracted. I keep imagining building a structure around this little aluminum fort, or some kind of wall or windbreak, but these projects would all be so massive and expensive. And probably not much help. </p><p>I thought the single-digit (F) cold would be the worst of it. Spring would come and all would be right. But now there is wind and rain.</p><p>The subject of weather is no longer "meaningless small talk." I have to be aware of the weather every day. If not, it makes itself known to me.</p><p><a href="https://defcon.social/tags/RVLife" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>RVLife</span></a> <a href="https://defcon.social/tags/OffGrid" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>OffGrid</span></a> <a href="https://defcon.social/tags/Rewilding" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Rewilding</span></a></p>

nullagent<p>Idea for this PR is to add a network bridge mode for repeaters.</p><p>This will let you take multiple LoRa radios, setup meshcore repeater firmware and listen on any number of channels or with different antenna setups and bridge the routing across those different channels with a shared Wifi link(the two dotted white boxes).</p><p>I've tested it for a few days and it's pretty amazing to see meshcore automatically finding bridged routes.</p><p><a href="https://github.com/ripplebiz/MeshCore/pull/96" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" translate="no" target="_blank"><span class="invisible">https://</span><span class="ellipsis">github.com/ripplebiz/MeshCore/</span><span class="invisible">pull/96</span></a></p><p><a href="https://partyon.xyz/tags/lora" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>lora</span></a> <a href="https://partyon.xyz/tags/meshcore" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>meshcore</span></a> <a href="https://partyon.xyz/tags/meshtastic" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>meshtastic</span></a> <a href="https://partyon.xyz/tags/esp32" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>esp32</span></a> <a href="https://partyon.xyz/tags/offgrid" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>offgrid</span></a></p>

Mx. Luna Corbden<p>Spoke to soon. One of my favorite new shirts DOES have mold stains 😞 Fortunately, it's a print that is hiding them fairly well on the outside. But I can see them plain on the inside. Argh! </p><p>Very hard to maintain good humor today, especially after getting lectured here by a Lefter-Than-Thou telling me I can't be sad about not having access to my favorite liqueur that I buy no more frequently than once every five years.</p><p>I think that last one is eating at me.</p><p>Y'all'r gonna have to endure my stream of consciousness. It's giving me enough dopamine bursts to get through this first of two baskets of damage caused only by my choice to live more stainably in a leaking 20-year old RV.</p><p><a href="https://defcon.social/tags/RVLife" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>RVLife</span></a> <a href="https://defcon.social/tags/OffGrid" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>OffGrid</span></a></p>

Mx. Luna Corbden<p>Tired of redoing things that unexpectedly have to be done again. </p><p>I'm folding clothes that only had to be washed because of the leak, putting them into a space I cleared yesterday for a different purpose, until I can find and fix the leak in the place they belong. All other spaces are used up by things that needed to go into the space I cleared. There are no "free spaces" at the moment because that's how it works living in an RV. It's either put away where it goes, or there's NO ROOM to even move.</p><p>Much harder with chronic fatigue, where there is no extra energy overhead to spend, so redoing anything means I'm not making progress on the forward things. Then the emotional hit sets me back even further. So I try to buffer the emotions, but I've hit that limit.</p><p>I've got to go back to what Krishna said in the Bhavagad Gita:</p><p>Expect no results from your actions!</p><p>To which I say, with all due respect to Krishna: *whimper*</p><p><a href="https://defcon.social/tags/RVLife" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>RVLife</span></a> <a href="https://defcon.social/tags/OffGrid" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>OffGrid</span></a></p>
