Eugenia L<p>Fasting provides amazing health benefits &amp; longevity. It's our natural way of eating, since we didn't evolve on munching all the time, especially as adults. It isn't that it will not; it straight up cannot. Can't. Matt<p>Thinking about the 17 months I have been on a <a href="https://newsie.social/tags/LowCarb" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>LowCarb</span></a> diet:<br>WHOLE GRAINS:<br>Advice on whole grains loses all nuance. A better mind set is: If you must partake in grains, please make them whole grain. Realize grains do NOT have any essential nutrients!. (Meaning your body can make all of them or derive them from fat and protein sources)</p>

What I noticed was this diet style seemed to have many right wing pushers of the diet. I was not happy with that. Health choices really should not have a political bent to them, they are either are informed or not. I know for me I surprised my GP informing her that my dramatic improvement was not due to starting a statin like she had suggested from my prior visit. No instead a cardiologist put me on this path.</p>

A strong conservative politically, I choose to focus instead on the eternal rather than the temporal in my relationships, online and off, and on loving those that God puts in my path, meeting them where THEY are.
