And btw, yes, 'Search this screen' on iOS is essentially "Circle to Search" on Android, but without calling it that. :)

"Google avoids using the term “circle” in its press release, probably because Apple doesn’t want to directly associate its devices with an AI feature that is so closely linked to its competitors’ products. It could also be the other way around and Google possibly wants to keep the Circle to Search branding limited to Android."

Two new Lens updates from Google. 'Search this screen' on iOS + AIOs will be appearing *more* often in Lens results.

From Google: "Lens can go much further and provide information on the contents of more novel or unique images. For those kinds of queries, AI Overviews will begin to appear more often in your Lens results, with no need to add a question to your visual search."

Psyched to shoot my first roll of large format film on my “new” camera from 1917-ish: a Kodak “No. 2 Folding Autographic Brownie” (sez so, right on the handle). Only 8 pics/ roll, cuz they’re like 4 inches! Shooting Ilford 400 speed B&W. Will find a way to use the timed shutter: release once to open, release again to close.

My “new” camera from 1916, a bellows camera extended with the front scroll foot down. Out of focus in the background is my laptop screen and beneath the bellows bed in the foreground is an empty box of black & white 120 roll film.
