Bardia<p>for this months updates, we are reworking our fingerprint setup entirely. the daemon (Biomd) is now written from scratch and no longer links against QT or libhybris.<br>while at it, i ended up writing a PAM module and a provider for <a href="https://social.likeadragonmaid.dev/tags/Fprintd" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Fprintd</span></a> which means all existing applications that use Fprintd will now work with our service.</p><p>one thing i wanted to experiment with was parallel PAM instances for stuff like sudo, so here is how far i got in about an hour</p><p><a href="https://social.likeadragonmaid.dev/tags/furilabs" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>furilabs</span></a> <a href="https://social.likeadragonmaid.dev/tags/flx1" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>flx1</span></a> <a href="https://social.likeadragonmaid.dev/tags/LinuxMobile" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>LinuxMobile</span></a> <a href="https://social.likeadragonmaid.dev/tags/furiphoneflx1" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>furiphoneflx1</span></a></p>
Bardia<p>in an attempt to achieve the highest app compatibility known to man, i ended up writing a daemon that allows to install, configure and run <a href="https://social.likeadragonmaid.dev/tags/UbuntuTouch" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>UbuntuTouch</span></a> applications on our beloved <a href="https://social.likeadragonmaid.dev/tags/flx1" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>flx1</span></a> and it actually turned out pretty nice.</p><p>this is yet another service/client setup where now the store server is refactored to work alongside android-store (used to install android apps) to lower memory usage and the client is a <a href="https://social.likeadragonmaid.dev/tags/GNOME" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>GNOME</span></a> software plugin </p><p><a href="https://social.likeadragonmaid.dev/tags/ubports" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>ubports</span></a> <a href="https://social.likeadragonmaid.dev/tags/furilabs" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>furilabs</span></a> <a href="https://social.likeadragonmaid.dev/tags/LinuxOnMobile" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>LinuxOnMobile</span></a> <a href="https://social.likeadragonmaid.dev/tags/LinuxMobile" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>LinuxMobile</span></a> <a href="https://social.likeadragonmaid.dev/tags/furiphoneflx1" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>furiphoneflx1</span></a></p>

Bardia<p>as some might recall, we were working on a feature to allow multi booting different systems easily and without any hassle ( partitioning etc).</p><p>around that time we started to get in contact with known porters of different systems such as <a href="https://social.likeadragonmaid.dev/tags/UbuntuTouch" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>UbuntuTouch</span></a> and <a href="https://social.likeadragonmaid.dev/tags/sailfishos" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>sailfishos</span></a> </p><p>after much effort and work, i can confidently say that the <a href="https://social.likeadragonmaid.dev/tags/flx1" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>flx1</span></a> will be added to the <a href="https://social.likeadragonmaid.dev/tags/UBports" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>UBports</span></a> installer and OTA server soon allowing allow bare metal and multi boot installs!</p><p><a href="https://social.likeadragonmaid.dev/tags/furilabs" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>furilabs</span></a> <a href="https://social.likeadragonmaid.dev/tags/LinuxOnMobile" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>LinuxOnMobile</span></a> <a href="https://social.likeadragonmaid.dev/tags/LinuxMobile" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>LinuxMobile</span></a> <a href="https://social.likeadragonmaid.dev/tags/furiphoneflx1" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>furiphoneflx1</span></a></p>
