Taking it for a test ride first in the Shibui North Tarot Ranger with medium #6 bock nib. I only have two metal bodied <a href="https://sunny.garden/tags/fountainpens" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>fountainpens</span></a>. I find them a little unwieldy. However, Ruth’s pens are irresistible… She’s doing a collaboration with Onoto. Just saying 😉</p>

This time we have the Cult Pens ink box for March with the theme "Reds &amp; Oranges" (Endless × Cult Spectral Orange not pictured as I already had it) plus 3 brand new inks, 1 recent ink, &amp; 1 older one.</p><p>I was disappointed with The Glass Bead Game as it's just too pale to write with. I'm liking Amamoyoi, Allegory, &amp; FoFoF a lot. Seven<p><a href="https://sunny.garden/tags/SwatchWednesday" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>SwatchWednesday</span></a><br>The light’s not great, but I thought I’d give Celadon Cat a tootle today, especially as the voting is underway for this year’s ink (I think we’ve basically asked Diamine to recreate Poussière de Lune 🙄).<br>It gets a lot of hate, but I like it, albeit the colour isn’t quite celadon (too blue!). The shading is usually more pronounced (bad light), and it has a lovely dusty quality I find very pleasing.<br>The quote is from an 18th century poem called Celadon to Mira by Mary Leopor. This ink seems to be going for the bluer-darker side of this kind of glaze. This is the first time I've had a dupe from a previous ink box in Sailor Midday Sun Papaya, hence why there's no paper towel blot for it.
